I have had five babies.  This website contains everything I wish I had known during my first pregnancy, first birth, and first year of motherhood.

These articles are not a formula, nor are they set of iron clad rules.  They are one mom’s experience, learned through much study and even more trial-and-error. (Please read our disclaimer.)

Over the years I have shared this content with many other women who found the information valuable and encouraged me to share it with other expectant first-time moms.

I do this reluctantly.

One thing I have learned more than anything is that a mother’s instincts are her best teacher; if there is any advice on this site that doesn’t work for you, ignore it and follow your instincts.

Your kids were sent to you for a reason.  And the reason is that you are the best parent that child can have to gain the experience he/she needs to succeed in life.

It is ultimately your judgment that will be most important when raising your children.  Trust your intuition – it will prove beneficial time and time again.
