Postpartum Abdomen Wrap
A few weeks after my second daughter was born I ordered a postpartum abdomen wrap that helps hold in that loose postpartum belly until the abdominal muscles retract back to their natural state. Whether it actually aids in the stomach shrinking back faster and smaller than it would without it I’m not sure but I can tell you it really took away the major, cross-your-eyes cramping that comes with early breastfeeding/stomach retraction – pretty much to the point of it disappearing. After a few weeks the abdomen wrap starts to add weight (with its extra layer) rather than taking it away.
